Do you want to work in a central role where service, structure, and collaboration are in focus? We are now looking for an administrator for an assignment at a government agency where you will be an important part of the organization's customer entry and daily case management.
About the position
At Perido, we are looking for an administrator for our client, the Swedish Maritime Administration. They are a Swedish government agency responsible for ensuring that shipping in Sweden is safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly. The assignment mainly takes place at the client's office in Norrköping. There may be some opportunity for remote work after agreement.
Your tasks
As an administrator, you will work in a first line function where you staff the organization's customer entry points via phone and email. You will receive, register, and make an initial assessment of incoming cases and ensure that they are handled or forwarded to the correct function or specialist. The work involves many points of contact, both internally and externally, and you contribute to creating an efficient and professional case management.
Your tasks include, among others:
- Receiving and handling incoming cases via phone and email
- Registering, assessing, and distributing cases further in the organization
- Handling fault reports, invoice inquiries, and requests for system support
- Managing administrative routines and working according to established processes
- Functioning as operational support to the organization
- Planning and coordinating administrative tasks
- Handling contacts with both employees and the public
- Writing minutes, letters, and other documentation
- Booking meetings, managing calendars, and planning travel
- Making simple compilations, calculations, and diagrams
- Supporting projects through planning and follow-up
Your qualities:
We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, structured, and enjoys a role where you handle many parallel cases. You have good administrative skills and work methodically even when the inflow of cases is high at times.
Qualifications (the requirements below must be met and clearly stated in your CV):
- High school or equivalent education
- At least three (3) years of work experience as an administrator/assistant
- Very good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
- Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
Meritorious:
- Experience in record-keeping
- Experience in administrative work within the shipping industry
- Experience and/or good system familiarity with the following systems: Public 360, Easit, Telia Ace, MSw Reportal
Scope and start date
Full-time, consulting assignment for 6 months, with the possibility of extension. The assignment can last a total of 2 years. Start no later than 2026-04-15, after a successful background check.
